Learners who excel in the recitation of, and have a passion to memorise the Quran are encouraged to enrol at the Hifz classes. These classes are held before school, during Quran Lessons, Saturday mornings and for a part of the school holidays. Due to the nature of Hifz, only a limited number of learners who are able to cope with both school and additional Quran lessons can be admitted to this programme.

At Al-Asr we follow the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements (CAPS ) system and are fully compliant with all the requirements as set by the Gauteng Department of Education.  Furthermore Al-Asr is fully accredited with the Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training UMALUSI.  Our qualified teachers  are passionate about teaching and guiding young minds towards being thinking, contributing individuals in society.
